The DOD Foreign Disclosure Determination Course is an eLearning course designed to provide a standard level of knowledge and understanding of DOD foreign disclosure policies and processes to DOD personnel who make foreign disclosure determinations or are involved in the process.
The course covers topics such as identifying and defining the categories of Classified Military Information (CMI), identifying policies that govern foreign disclosure, identifying information protection principles, identifying disclosure criteria, limitations, and requirements, and applying the steps used to adjudicate a disclosure request.
The course is 2.5 hours long and is intended for DOD professionals involved in the foreign disclosure process, such as security personnel, acquisition personnel, intelligence professionals, program managers, and active duty military personnel.
There are no clearance or attendance requirements, but a passing score of 75 percent on the final exam is required to print a certificate of successful completion.
