This course is designed for state and FEMA staff to review local mitigation plans to determine if they meet federal requirements.
The course provides training on using the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Review Guide and Plan Review Tool to communicate review results to local communities.
The primary audience is new and experienced state and FEMA plan reviewers, including Disaster Assistance Reservists and contract plan reviewers. The course length is 3 hours, and there are no prerequisites.
